Artists In Schools

WORKSHOPS, PROJECTS & MINI RESIDENCIES…

Creative Workshops in Schools, Museums & Communities

Are you looking for an Artist to work with children on a specific project?

Or…perhaps are you looking for a mini residency?

We work with Schools, Museums, Educational Institutions and Local Authorities to run tailored creative workshops for children aged 4 upwards.

With qualified teachers and professional artists in our team, we run tailored creative workshops for children aged 4 upwards. From specific project driven sessions and Curriculum focussed activities, to mini artist residencies and creative & mental health weeks, we have something for everyone.

Creative sessions are completely flexible and can be as little as a couple of hours, a week long project (such as an Arts Week) or even working for a longer period as an ‘Artist in Residence.’

Using a professional artist to work with the children provides greater exposure to a wide range of Arts and Crafts and brilliant for developing creative thinking. Plus they are great fun too!

Our workshops are taught by a professional Teacher/s* and can be tailored to meet National Curriculum objectives. In addition, support for planning and assessment can also be provided for Teachers following the workshop/s.

All equipment and materials can be provided where necessary.

If you are interested in more information, or would like to discuss a specific creative workshop you have in mind, please email studio@madebytamalia.co.uk
