How to paint Trees and Flowers as you’ve never done so before

Join MADEby Master Maker Gaye Daniels for a beautifully calming abstract acrylic painting workshop.

About this Workshop…

Gaye says, “I love painting trees and flowers but I don’t believe you need to paint a tree with a brown trunk and green leaves just because that’s what is in front of you. I’m passionate about colour and my paintings are vibrant and colourful and I paint with emotion. Come and immerse yourself in my world. You don’t need any qualifications or experience to paint with me. All you need is an open mind and the willingness to experiment. This workshop will touch on tips and how to make art simple and there’s no such thing as mistakes. What you will gain from this is the ability to see nature and other subjects in a different light. You will be able to look at what is in front of you and break it down so that you can form a composition and plan what you want to do. There is no right or wrong. Be prepared to paint as never before.”

This workshop is all about creating and having fun but more importantly, giving you the confidence to feel free to paint how you like. There is no right or wrong

Please bring with you to the workshop: All aprons, materials, tools and equipment will be provided, however if you have a favourite brush or colour of acrylic paint please feel free to bring along with you. Paper will be supplied but if you’d prefer to work on something firmer then Gaye will bring a selection of A4 and A3 canvas panels that are £4 and £5 each or you can use your own. Gaye is also happy if you have a sketch book and want to work from that.
