hygge

/ˈh(j)uːɡə,ˈhʊɡə/

“a quality of cosiness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being (regarded as a defining characteristic of Danish culture).”

Our ‘HYGGE SERIES’ of workshops are inspired by the Danish practice of coziness, comfort and conviviality to promote wellbeing and happiness.

After the success of our last workshop we are delighted to be teaming up again with Ruth from Cucumber Wood Candles to bring you a 2.5hr workshop.

About the Workshop:

In this summer calming hygge workshop you will have the chance to make your own soy wax container candles, learning all about the candle making process.

We will don our aprons and you get to have a go at melting the wax on a double boiler, adding Ruth’s seasonal essential oil blend of your choice (from a selection) and pouring into prepared containers. By the end of the session you will have two beautiful aromatherapy candles to take home and enjoy, or perhaps ready for presents for a special someone!

We kindly ask if you can arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time, as we always aim to start on time to ensure we have enough time to create our wonderful pieces. Thank you 🙂
