Spring & Autumn are when we see the most change to our landscape as we let go of the previous season and embrace the new.
This year we have all missed out on celebrating Spring in the way we perhaps would have normally done so, but I’m sure many of us will have still enjoyed it’s colourful beauty with our loved ones.
By shifting our perspective we can see any change as an opportunity for growth, rebalance and gratitude.
Our ‘AWESOME AUTUMN SERIES’ of workshops are inspired by the quote by Albert Camus. “Autumn is a second Spring where every leaf is a flower”
Let’s light up our beautiful homes this Autumn by bringing some fresh life into an old lamp with our no-sew lampshade workshop.
This two hour workshop, led by our MADEby Master Maker Helen Stamoulis, enables you to make your own no-sew 25cm drum lampshade. No experience is necessary as we will provide all the equipment needed, and will guide you through every step of the making process, to ensure you have a stunning finished lampshade to take away with you.
All materials, equipment, and tuition are included in the price but most students bring their own fabric as they want their lampshade to match their own décor. If you are bringing your own fabric please bring a piece of medium weight fabric measuring at least 40cm x 120cm). Fabric displayed in the photos may differ slightly from what is available on the day but we will have a nice selection available to choose from.
Enjoy this evening workshop over a glass of Prosecco or sparkling Elderflower (Tea and coffee available too).
Fancy adding something else?
If you want to make a second matching lampshade during the workshop/at home then please let us know – there is an additional charge of £12 for the second kit.
Also if you would like to convert an old bottle into your lampshade base (see photo) then we can provide a bottle lamp convertor for £10
Thursday 8th October
7 – 9pm
We kindly ask if you can arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time, as we always aim to start on time to ensure we have enough time to create our wonderful pieces. Thank you 🙂
