This is a great one, especially for toddlers, to experiment with painting for the first time. However it’s just as much fun for older kids and even adults, as you can just be free and not worry about being precise.

What You Need:

  • Shaving foam
  • A range of different food colouring gels or liquids
  • Cake tin, muffin tin or clean yoghurt pots

How To Make:

  1. Spray a mound of foam into each section of your tray or pots
  2. Add a few drops of food colouring to each mound and stir in gently with the end of a spoon or a cocktail stick
  3. Simple as that – now just have fun!

Please note that as you use the foam it will lose its puffiness and it doesn’t keep. However it is so easy to make and can even be used in the bath as it simply washes away.

Although most of these ingredients are natural we cannot guarantee the colourings will stain clothes so always best to wear an apron or old clothes.
